At first, they’re cautious with each other, but gradually they realize that a bond connects them: a time when the Silk Road was a path between their present city and their hometown.

Synopsis:A nationwide power outage has plunged Cuba into a vast darkness, but the illuminations seem to herald a new era. The filmmaker’s mother, however, remains sheltered in her home, speaking of a nightmarish image that has haunted her for a lifetime.

Synopsis:In the late 70s and early 80s, as conflict erupted in Peru and its abandoned rural areas, the filmmaker’s mother was forced to leave her home. Forty years later, in a letter to her mother, the filmmaker attempts to retrace her steps, projecting family films onto the landscapes of the journey: from the ruined walls of houses to the dry leaves and branches of trees, and the cracks in the roads.
