Synopsis: A silent tribute to the early days of cinema, explored through the investigation of the disappearance of French photographer Gérard Fleury in the 1920s. An experimental and hybrid non-fiction film comprised of genre and structuralist film fragments, archival footage of city symphonies, home movies, and dramatic reconstructions featuring actors. The most famous work of José Luis Guerín, one of the most prominent auteur filmmakers in contemporary Spanish cinema.
